RESONANCE

A Black History Month Art Exhibition 2025

Resonance is a celebration of African art, culture, and creativity as part of Southampton’s Black History Month. The exhibition explores how colours, patterns, and symbols from African traditions continue to inspire, echo, and resonate across generations and communities.
Bringing together works influenced by African textiles, masks, landscapes, and contemporary interpretations, the show highlights the richness and diversity of African artistic expression.
Through bold colour, striking imagery, and shared creativity, Resonance invites visitors to reflect on heritage, identity, and the powerful connections that link past, present, and future.
